Cornerstone Homeschool Enrichment Program offers Christ-centered educational support for junior high homeschool students. The program directors provide instruction and hands-on-activities in a group setting. Students take classes according to their needs. Classes meet two days a week and students study at home three days a week.

Parents are responsible for all student files, including a private school affidavit and the student’s permanent cumulative (cum) file.

7th Grade

Meets Tuesday and Thursday

8:30 - 2:00 PM

Math: Saxon 8/7 or Algebra ½ (based on student ability)

English: Writing, Literature, Literary Analysis, Grammar, Poetry, Public Speaking - Rod and Staff 7, Vocabulary from the Classical Roots

History: Geography of the World

Science: Apologia General Science

Study hall offered 2:00- 2:30 p.m.

8th Grade

Meets Wednesday and Friday

8:00 - 2:30 PM

Math: Saxon Algebra ½ or Algebra

English: Critical Thinking and Skill Strengthening, The Lively Art of Writing, MLA Handbook, Vocabulary from Classical Roots
