Lit-To-Life, Night at the Library

Join us Thursday, May 25th at 6:30 in the SLOCS Library (a.k.a. Sanctuary) as we watch our students bring literature to life! This is an annual event at SLOCS and one that has been a favorite year after year. We have a very entertaining evening planned for you including the special guest appearance by our school librarian, Mrs. Ybarra! Our Kindergarten class will be presenting “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt.” While the 1st graders will be bringing you the “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”, and don’t miss the fun rendition of “Floss and The Fox” by our 2nd and 3rd graders, and finally, a crowd favorite by our 5th and 6th graders, “The Hobbit”.  Afterward the audience is invited to a “Cast Party’ in the SLOCS courtyard where there will be refreshments and you can collect autographs from our cast members! We hope you will join us! Our students have worked so hard and are excited to fill the sanctuary with a grand audience!
